As a New York City dog walker, I've seen it all. From the tiniest teacup poodles to the largest Great Danes, I've walked them all. And let me tell you, each and every one of them has a story to tell.
In my new memoir, Confessions of a New York City Dog Walker, I share some of my most hilarious, heartwarming, and unforgettable experiences on the job. From the time I got lost in Central Park with a group of unruly puppies to the time I had to break up a dogfight between two of my clients, there's never a dull moment in my life as a dog walker.
But it's not all fun and games. I've also seen the dark side of dog ownership. I've seen dogs that have been abused, neglected, and abandoned. And I've seen the heartbreak that their owners go through when they lose a beloved pet.
But through it all, I've learned one thing: dogs are amazing creatures. They're loyal, loving, and always there for us. They make our lives better in so many ways, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to care for them.
In Confessions of a New York City Dog Walker, I share my stories in the hopes of making you laugh, cry, and see the world from a dog's-eye view. I also hope to inspire you to adopt a dog of your own. They're truly the best friends a person could ask for.
